The office needs to be maintained at a comfortable working temperature all year and ensure that there are no drafts or hot or cold spots to ensure that everyone can work without distraction. In addition the system needs to be as quiet and efficient as possible.
It is frequently overlooked that Modern Air Conditioning systems utilise renewable heat pump technology and inverter technology and are extremely energy efficient at both heating and cooling. They are typically 4 times more efficient than traditional gas or electric powered heating systems all of which can result in substantially reduced running costs and lower carbon emissions.
Todays’ systems can also simultaneously heat and cool different spaces to balance energy use across a building and can supply hot water thereby negating the need for traditional heating and separate air conditioning systems.
The company has almost 20 years experience providing these systems and holds the coveted MCS accreditation for the installation of Air Source Heat Pumps.
Heat Pumps are classified as a Green Technology and emit Zero Carbon emissions.
They are also very quiet and look good.
There are three common types of unit which are most suitable depending on budget and the type of building:
Wall Mounted units – Least Expensive to install, easy to retrofit
Ceiling Mounted Cassette units – Unobtrusive, aesthetically pleasing and fit very well into a suspended ceiling.
Ducted Units – Most attractive, only see small grill, difficult to retrofit, more expensive.
